I am certain from what I have witnessed from my simple interaction with bright minds and hopeful optimistic faces that we are betting on the right people and the right generation for the future of the UAE.

We put all efforts possible to help our gifted and talented students nurture their skills and to guide them in the right directions through:

  • Exposing them to new ideas and areas
  • Promoting creative and critical thinking
  • Requiring problem solving
  • Involving them in group interactions
  • Offering them variable levels of pacing
  • Allowing them the freedom of choice, so long as it entails no negative outcomes
  • Involving them in higher order thinking processes
  • Encouraging their creativity
  • Providing opportunities for divergent and convergent thinking

Our gifted and talented students are identified via a number of characteristics that are pinpointed through the analysis of various sources of information such as:

  • Formative and Summative Assessments
  • Generic and subject-specific checklists, developed by the teachers or by professional associations
  • Curriculum Standards Levels and Standardized Test Scores
  • Parental, peer, or self-nomination, based on experiences outside of school, such as sporting or artistic excellence, with supporting evidence when required
  • Testimonies and information offered by the pupil’s previous school or previous teachers at the same school
