Al Ain American School (AAS) proudly opened its gates on Monday, August 31, 2026, welcoming students from Grades 1 to 12 for the beginning of the new academic year. The first day was filled with excitement, anticipation and positive energy as students, parents and staff came together to begin another memorable chapter in the AAS journey.

This academic year is especially significant as the school celebrates two major milestones in its history.

A New Building, A New Beginning

One of the most exciting developments this year is the opening of AAS’s new building extension. The new facility marks another important step in the school’s continued growth and commitment to providing students with an enriched learning environment and improved educational facilities.

Our First Grade 12 Cohort

Perhaps the most historic milestone of all is the arrival of Grade 12 at Al Ain American School.

For the first time in the school’s history, AAS will have a Grade 12 cohort, bringing the school closer to offering a complete educational journey from the early years through to graduation. This year marks the beginning of a particularly meaningful journey for our senior students, who will become the school’s first graduating batch.

Their journey represents years of growth, learning and achievement, and their graduation will undoubtedly be a defining moment in the history of Al Ain American School.

The opening day was filled with lively energy across the school as students arrived with smiles, enthusiasm and anticipation for the year ahead. For our returning students, it was an opportunity to reconnect with friends and teachers, while our new students began their AAS journey and became part of our growing school community.
